COVID KIT 2021: support services


The Lindbergh Covid Kit is a special package designed to make you feel protected on holiday, always.
It includes special services in case of a COVID-19 infection during your stay: 
 
1) A dedicated COVID Assistant within the accommodation.
An interpreter is provided for foreign guests.
 
2) Medical advice by telephone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: If you suspect that you may be infected with the virus, you can request a telephone consultation with a doctor for immediate assistance.
 
3) Dedicated menu for infected guests, if the stay includes the provision of meals (lunch and/or dinner).
 
4) Arranging for the convalescent guest or minor to return home. 
Guests who, at the end of their COVID convalescence, are unable to use their originally booked means of transport for the return journey will be offered a first-class train ticket or economy class air ticket as a substitute.
The same treatment will be provided to allow a child under 15 years of age to return to his/her residence if the person accompanying him/her suffers from COVID and is therefore unable to accompany him/her. 
 
5) Advance on essential expenses.
In the event of a COVID diagnosis during the holiday by the Guest, a Family Member or a single Travelling Companion (whose names are included in the booking/holiday voucher), unforeseen expenses related to this health emergency will be advanced by the Hotel up to a maximum amount of €300.00. 
 
6) Cover for medical expenses, possible hospitalisation and extension of stay

MEDICAL EXPENSES FOR COVID-19
In the event that the Guest, a Family Member or a single Travelling Companion (whose names are included in the booking/holiday voucher) tests positive for the COVID-19 virus, determined during the stay through clinical examinations (molecular swab and serological test), medical and pharmaceutical expenses that are urgent and cannot be postponed for treatment, exceeding €50.00, will be borne by the Hotel for the part exceeding the aforementioned amount of €50.00, through direct payment, if permitted, or through reimbursement of those incurred by the Guest himself.

HOSPITALISATION DUE TO COVID-19
In the event of hospitalization due to COVID-19 that occurs within 5 days of return from the stay and lasts for at least 7 consecutive days, the Guest will be compensated by the Hotel with the payment of a maximum amount of €1,000.00 beyond which nothing else can be claimed.

EXTENSION OF STAY DUE TO COVID-19
In the event of an extension of the stay by the Guest made necessary by an established diagnosis of COVID-19 at the Guest's expense, the Guest will be reimbursed for the costs of board and lodging related to this extension up to a maximum of 7 days and up to a maximum amount of €100.00 per day. The same applies in the event that the diagnosis of COVID-19 is made in respect of Family Members present at the Hotel or a single Travelling Companion, registered in the same booking/voucher. If more than one person is involved, the maximum daily reimbursement will be €250.00.
